As mentioned in the title I regret that it is not possible, in most cases, to recover a single contact, presentation, sessions, etc.

I have a contact id, if I want to retrieve the person's first and last name (as an example), I need to retrieve all first and last names of all contacts in an event and filter the correct one.

This may not seem like much, but now imagine that I want a single presentation with the title, the authors and their affiliations and, of course, the attached document(s). You have to collect almost the entire event program, perhaps thousands of presentations to get just one!

I hope this is investigated in the future, otherwise the API (at least the query part) will only serve clients who want to connect 3rd parties and not build around AIR events.
